About Cudatus

Cudatus is an infrastructure company building a common network for real-time road events. Road data today is fragmented: every carmaker, navigation app, road operator and fleet platform holds its own incidents in its own silo, and the suppliers who sell access sell it one way — the customer consumes, never contributes. Cudatus is neutral by construction, which is the only position from which such a network can be built at all: no telematics platform will feed a competitor’s network, and no carmaker will join another carmaker’s.

About Relay

Cudatus Relay is the product: one API to publish a road event, to confirm or dispute one, and to subscribe to everything happening in an area. Publishing is free and consuming is paid. Relay commits publicly to a 95th-percentile delivery under one second between publication and reception, and it ingests the French national road network feed — published in DATEX II under Licence Ouverte 2.0 — so the network is not empty on day one.

What runs today

The API, the live event explorer and the developer console are in production. Signup is self-service: sign in with an emailed code, create an organisation, issue and revoke keys yourself behind a second-factor step-up. A sandbox environment sits beside the live one, isolated by a one-way boundary — a sandbox key reads live traffic, so testing never starts against an empty network, and nothing published there reaches a live consumer.
